Lighting Design Team

Get a lighting plan from people who do this every day

Our design team has over 50 years of combined experience lighting homes, businesses and outdoor spaces. Tell us about your project and we'll help you choose the right fixtures.

What we help with

  • Fixture selection – chandeliers, pendants, vanity lights, ceiling fixtures, lamps and fans that fit the room and your style.
  • Sizing and placement – fixture size, hanging height, spacing and how many fixtures a space needs.
  • Light quality – brightness, color temperature and dimming for how the space is used.
  • Commercial projects – offices, retail, warehouses, restaurants and parking areas, including LED conversions.
  • Landscape lighting – path, spot, deck and hardscape lighting planned around your property.

What to send us

Photos of the space, rough room dimensions and ceiling height, a floor plan if you have one, and any fixtures you already like. Not sure yet? That’s fine – just describe the project.

How a design request works

  1. Send the details. Use the form with photos, rough dimensions, ceiling height and any fixtures you like.
  2. We review the space. Our team looks at sizing, hanging heights, spacing, brightness and color temperature for how you use the room.
  3. You get options. We suggest fixtures from over 350 manufacturers that fit your style and budget.
  4. Order and install. Buy through us, and we can coordinate installation through our network of qualified electrical contractors.

Who is on the lighting design team?

Our team brings 50+ years of combined experience in residential, commercial, industrial and landscape lighting.

What do I need to send for a design request?

Photos, rough room dimensions and ceiling height help most. A floor plan or drawings are a bonus. If you are just planning, a description is fine.

Do you design commercial lighting too?

Yes: offices, retail, warehouses, restaurants and parking areas, including LED conversions and rebate-eligible upgrades.

How do I pick the right color temperature?

Warm white (2700K to 3000K) suits living spaces and bedrooms; 3000K to 3500K suits kitchens and baths; 3500K to 4000K suits offices and work areas. We can recommend by room.
