What to look for in a lighted mirror

Hardwired or plug-in: hardwired mirrors connect to a junction box behind the mirror; plug-in models need a nearby outlet.
Adjustable color temperature lets you check makeup in warm and daylight tones.
Anti-fog pads keep the glass clear after a shower.
A damp rating for bathroom use.

In many baths they do, because the light comes from around the mirror and hits the face evenly. Larger baths may still want a ceiling light.
